Glenn’s technical foundation spans over 15 years of aerospace propulsion and structural development across industry-leading organizations. At Blue Origin, he led design, analysis, and testing of the 110,000 lbf BE-3 reusable rocket engine, managing system-level risk analyses, advanced manufacturing processes, and serving as cognizant engineer for critical test operations. His NASA experience included thermo-fluid analysis and finite element analysis supporting the J-2X engine program, while his role as Director of Propulsion and Structures at Generation Orbit involved designing major propulsion system components and managing high-value subcontracts with Air Force customers.

As an entrepreneur, Glenn co-founded Responsive Launch Systems, where he led systems architecture design for hybrid rocket launch vehicles and developed advanced combustion chamber technologies. This entrepreneurial experience, combined with his deep technical expertise, provided the foundation for founding Hermeus and building it into a leading hypersonic aircraft company.

Glenn’s educational background includes mechanical engineering degrees from Tulane University and graduate research at Purdue University, where he worked within the Rolls-Royce/Gulfstream quiet supersonic jet program and led thermal and propulsion design efforts for hybrid rocket systems.
